About Me
Dr. Geoff Smith has over 20 years of Chiropractic experience. His chiropractic journey started as a young child when he met Dr. Ted Mann. Geoff sustained a neck injury delivering the Oshawa This Week with the paper bag on his head. Dr. Smith’s long time love of hockey and fitness training lead him on a path of healthcare.
At the University of Toronto Geoff attained his Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. It is at the U of T where he continued to grow his interest in Chiropractic, the human body, and human performance. He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Upon graduation he started working with his now mentor Dr. Larry Down at the Oshawa South Chiropractic Clinic (OSCC). Dr. Smith enjoys being the team leader at the OSCC. The team works together to ensure the patient’s best interest is a priority. His treatment approach is built around chiropractic care, both manual and instrument adjusting techniques. He complements his adjustments with soft tissue therapy (Active Release Techniques) and active living education. Dr. Smith is also trained in custom orthotic therapy. He is passionate about personal health and fitness and loves to guide his patients along their own wellness journey.
